ENGLISH BRIEF CV

Vangelis Liodakis attended a course at “Kittaro” Drama Studio. Then he studied and graduated with a scholarship at the Higher Drama School “Odeion Athinon” of Athens. He has also attended courses on Physical Theatre with Ryszard Cieślak from Grotowski’s Laboratory Theatre.

He has acted in more than 50 theatrical performances of classical repertoire, contemporary Greek and foreign repertoire, ancient tragedies and comedies, street theatre in Greece and abroad, musical shows and performances by renowned directors. He has collaborated with the Municipal and Regional Theatres of Roumeli, Rhodes, Patras, Kavala, Ioannina, Crete, North Aegean, with the municipal theatre of Rethymno, the municipal theatre of Mylopotamos and with a variety of theatrical groups, in 3 of which he has been a co-founder. He has also participated in radio plays and literary readings. He has starred in awarded Greek short and full-length feature films, television films, TV series as well as in TV and Radio commercials. He is facilitator and director in theatrical groups, he teaches seminars about acting and he teaches theatrical education & play in children and adolescent groups.

Since 2022 until 2024 he was the artistic director and acting-teacher in the Higher Drama School “NOTOS” in Crete.
